Expanding Opportunities is a program developed specifically for youth ages 14-21 that have had contact with the juvenile justice system. This program expands the highly successful X-Treme Opportunity, which serves youth who have been adjudicated in the adult court system, and strives to direct our youths’ energy to positive activities and choices that lead to success!

The aim of Expanding Opportunities is to assist the youth in developing and working toward a career goal. The program will provide services including, but not limited to life skills attainment, skills assessment, career exploration, Individualized Employment Plan development, GED or HSED or occupational skills training, work readiness and experience, and counseling services (AODA mental health or behavioral). The program will also assist with accessibility to programs for those with disabilities, parenting skills, financial literacy, and mentoring and support services.
